Preservation Facsimiles

  • Books that are to brittle to circulate can now be disassembled, scanned, and reprinted for a high quality reproduction.

  • A Preservation Facsimile is an economical way to restore old, brittle or otherwise worn-out books.

  • We use acid-free paper in accordance with the ANSI-NISO Standard Z39.48 for print performance.

  • All printing is done on digital printers. We can scan your original or print from your electronic file (preferably a .pdf file). We can print as many copies as you require.

  • High-quality white and cream 60# acid-free grain long paper is used in our digital printing process. Other papers are available.

  • Scanning is done at up to 600 dpi black/white. Color and grayscale is also available. We can also provide you with a .pdf or multipage .tiff on CD if desired.

  • We can scan up to 12" x 18"
